• July 18-20, 2025 Summer Festival   – Cobblestone Inn and Suites 1900 Lakewood Dr. Boone, IA. Join us for all or part of this Festival Weekend

• Angela Lawrence featured teacher and lecturer
• IQG annual meeting
• Sit & Sew Retreat for IQG members: Friday, Saturday afternoon, Sunday* Friday 9:00-4:00, Angela Lawrence will be teaching “Creative Circles” a workshop focused on learning numerous embroidery stitches to decorate a layered wool circle.* Friday 9:00 thru evening, Sit & Sew Retreat room for IQG members not taking the workshop and after workshop for those in class.* Saturday 9:00, Angela will be our featured speaker with a trunk show and lecture. After the lecture we will have coffee, treats and fellowship time to visit with Angela and other members. (Lecture is free for IQG members, $10 for non-members)

  * Saturday 10:30, Iowa Quilters Guild annual meeting. Stay the afternoon and evening for Sit & Sew Retreat and more fellowship.

  * Sunday until 6:00, Sit & Sew Retreat for IQG members.

  IQG has a block of rooms set aside until May 17 at Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Boone, 515-212-8823, for Thursday, Friday and /or Saturday. Rate: $109.99 Queen Double. Call directly to make a reservation. Be sure to tell them if you need a room on the first floor.
